Untitled mural painting by Kaido Ole in the Noblessner Harbour
Client: Artist Kaido Ole Venue: A building in the area of the Noblessner Harbour, Tallinn Date: 05.06–07.06.2014 Space: A stone wall 10m x 6 m Assisting the artist by VALGE KUUP Kaido Ole: “This unnamed mural painting on the wall of the extension of the Noblessner foundry was made in 2014 as a try-out for a larger work that was about to be executed somewhere else. But as happens in life, temporary things often last longer than planned, whereas the most certain ones remain unfulfilled. The 'try-out' ended up lasting almost four years, and was demolished along with the building, which was itself of little value, in January 2018. This only served to gladden me, as this cool historical ensemble will finally be restored.” |
