Exhibition titled “Uneversum: Rhythms and Spaces”
Client: Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design Venue: Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design Date: 27.10.2023–07.04.2024 Curator: Sandra Nuut Exhibition design: HG Architecture (HGA) Andrea Ainjärv, Anna Endrikson, Evelyn Fridolin, and Tomomi Hayashi Exhibition production: Valge Kuup Studio Graphic design: WWW stuudio, Ranno Ait Project period: February – October 2023 Production and installation included: - renovation of a 40-year-old ‘house-bed’ designed by interior architect Niina Eigi in 1983. The bed was part of the legendary fairytale-like Piilupesa kindergarten (architect Ado Eigi); - production of a room divider designed by Helle Gans. The DIY drawings were published in a magazine “Kunst ja Kodu“ 2/1970 magazine; - fabrication and prototyping of the exhibition furniture and walls; - building the exhibition space; - installation, adaptation to the space and fine-tuning of the artwork “Circadian Dreams“ (2019) by Helga Schmid. |
